This headcanon is for Miora’s life in my post game fanfiction. Once that’s done I’ll start on her life as a warden once I start her play-through.
Miora was born to Revka Amell on the 16th day of Frumentum (or 10th month) 9:11 Dragon, niece of Aristide Amell, in the city of Kirkwall in the Free Marches. Miora spent the first ten years of her life being raised and educated in the ways of the Kirkwall nobility, wanting for nothing. However, at the age of 10, Miora’s powers decided to manifest in the form of her accidentally setting a book aflame during a lesson in Orlesian.
Afraid that his grandneice’s “curse” would jeopardize his candidacy for Viscount, he had her shipped across the Waking Sea to Ferelden, where she would be grafted into their Circle as an apprentice. The next eleven years of her life were spent behind the stone walls of the Circle tower. During her time there, Miora spent much of her time learning how to control her powers and showed much talent in the primal and entropic schools of magic while failing miserably at healing. She also befriended a fellow mage named Jowan, the two becoming like siblings as the years wore on as well as the part-time apostate, Anders, though their relationship was more of a physical one due to him constantly being separated from everyone else due to his habit of running off and her complete refusal to run away with him. Miora, while in no way enjoyed being in the circle, saw running away without much planning a sure-fire way to get herself killed or made tranquil. On that note, she also did her best to steer clear of any and all Templar’s, more so after an “incident” that occurred when she was 18.
Miora was conscripted into the Grey Wardens after helping Jowan flee the circle in Umbralis(11th month) 9:30 Dragon.
